Aptly named, the entrance to this cave was originally covered with barbed wire fencing, to prevent cattle from falling in the cenote. The original explorers surfaced in the cenote they were literally penned in.

Tucked away in the jungle, this site is part of the Najaron or Naranjal system. The cave is generally dark with a lot of tannic acid stained black rocks and formations. Further along there are huge rooms with huge curtains of formations dripping from the ceiling. Most impressive is the salt-water passage below the halocline.
